Go-to drugstore beauty products

I wear different make up depending on the occasion. I wear less to school and more on the weekends. I wear more colourful shades for partaaaays and concerts. But there are always essentials that I wear no matter what the occasion.

Rimmel wake me up concealer

I recently got back into wearing concealer again. For the last couple of months I had been wearing foundation as a base with nothing else. But when I went on a weekend getaway a while back and realised I had forgotten my foundation, what seemed a disaster soon became a huge revelation. I realised I liked the look of myself a lot more with a lighter, more natural face of makeup.

Rimmel's 'wake me up' concealer is perfection! It blends and sits really well, I never have any reason to top up. There are never any streaks or flakes lurking on my face and its completely affordable and amazing value for money.

Barry M flawless colour corrector

At the same time as purchasing a concealer after my 'huge revelation' I picked up Barry M's 'Flawless colour corrector. This has worked wonders with my make up and I cannot tell you what a huge difference I have noticed.

Its got a creamy texture and is really very soft on your face. It instantly gets rid of any blemishes I may have and gives a healthy glow making me look so much more fresh and awake! Its a great base for your make up and it doesn't make your face seem at all oily without setting powder, which is great if you aren't a fan of a powdery face, like me.

Nivea soft rose lip balm

Anyone who knows me well will know that I will never leave the house without a Nivea lip balm, Weather it be 'Original care', 'Pearly shine', or you guessed it 'soft rose'.
I'm not a fan of lipstick much (I could do without the lipstick on teeth issues)  but I'm all about the tinted lip balms.

I love soft rose by Nivea, Its moisturising (like any lip balm should be) and also is a lovely pink colour. Its not too vibrant, its so soft that it could be natural. I love it. Also I have had a lot of compliments on my lip colour when wearing this....

Rimmel royal blush

OK... so I can't really say this was something I wanted to buy myself, it was more of an accidental discovery that's saved my cheeks forever. My hairdresser (the kindest woman living) gave me this as a present, for no reason!

Its a cream blusher, which was something I had never tried before, but I have found (with highlighter too) that for me cream based products are a lot better on my skin than powder based products.
Its not a strongly coloured blusher on my skin, it very natural and the tiny bit of shimmer in it offers a healthy glow that looks completely natural. I recommend this to anyone with fair skin.
